Rise and shine!

It's breakfast time! It's been a while since I last whipped up something. I'm a novice when it comes to cooking/baking but it's something that I've always loved doing. I love to try new recipes & I sell cakes & pastries when I have the time. Since my pregnancy mishap, I haven't done anything productive. I was hiding and sulking all the time. I'm feeling much better now. Thanks to my husband & BFF who never failed to give me love, support & encouragement.

I wanted to do something out of my english muffins and since I've been craving for french toast, I thought why not combine the two. This favorite recipe is from Allrecipes.com.

FLUFFY FRENCH TOAST

Ingredients:

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 pinch salt
3 eggs
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp white sugar
12 thick slices bread


Procedures:

1. Measure flour into a large mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the milk.
2. Whisk in the salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sugar until smooth.
3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
4. Soak bread slices in mixture until saturated.
5. Cook bread on each side until golden brown.
6. Serve hot and enjoy.
